Qixian Kitchen brings AI cooking robots to Geely's cafeteria, featuring standardized stir-fry that's a hit, with plans to expand to more enterprises.
Just after 11:30 in the morning, a long line had already formed in front of the Qixian Kitchen (七鲜小厨) location at Geely Holding Group headquarters. Recently, a wave of enthusiasm has swept through Geely's offices as employees flock to Qixian Kitchen for lunch. Beyond customers drawn in by their lunch buddies, some are long-time Qixian Kitchen delivery users. Jill, a Hunan native on Geely's marketing team, previously ordered Qixian Kitchen takeout for dinner. Now she can enjoy freshly cooked pepper-fried pork right in the cafeteria. "The meat slices are tender, the peppers are fragrant—it tastes exactly like what I'd get back home. And while waiting in line, I can watch the robotic wok cooking it live—truly seeing is believing," Jill said.
On July 31, Qixian Kitchen, JD.com's quality dining brand, officially opened at Geely Holding Group's headquarters cafeteria, marking a major milestone in Qixian Kitchen's expansion into the corporate dining sector. The two parties adopted an innovative cooperation model of "company provides rent-free space, kitchen operates fully independently," delivering freshly cooked meals to employees through market-driven operations.

As a leading company in China's automotive manufacturing industry, Geely Holding Group is accelerating its smart manufacturing transformation strategy. The partnership with Qixian Kitchen comes from the perfect alignment of its "AI+Robot" intelligent dining solution with the company's transformation strategy. A Geely Holding Group administrative staff member said, "Introducing Qixian Kitchen at this time is exactly the implementation of Geely's smart manufacturing philosophy in the corporate logistics scenario. The standardized cooking robots, combined with JD.com's supply chain management capabilities and the kitchen's food safety controls, allow employees to enjoy higher-quality work meals within corporate benefits, boosting employee satisfaction and well-being."

In terms of food preparation, "AI+Robot" solves the core pain points of traditional corporate cafeterias: rough management, "one-pot cooking," inconsistent dish quality, and food safety concerns. Qixian Kitchen relies on its self-developed AI recipe library, with intelligent cooking robots digitizing and standardizing the heat, ingredient amounts, and seasoning for every dish—ensuring each home-style stir-fry tastes consistently the same while preserving the wok aroma and freshness of freshly cooked food.

The Qixian Kitchen counter at the Geely Building cafeteria offers about 50 dishes, with daily updates and weekly rotations. Popular Qixian Kitchen items such as pepper-fried pork and sour radish beef are all available. Dishes are developed and introduced on a fixed cycle, with plans for Geely-exclusive dishes in the future, updated to reflect holidays, seasonal themes, and special occasions. Going forward, the cooking robots will also be used to recreate hometown flavors from across the country, so employees from different regions can enjoy a "taste of home" right in the company cafeteria.
Beyond intelligent production, food safety is another highlight of Qixian Kitchen. Continuing the brand's core philosophy of fresh, wok-cooked meals, all ingredients are premium pre-washed vegetables delivered fresh via cold chain to the kitchen daily, ensuring safety from the source. In terms of ingredient transparency, core supplier names—including Fulinmen non-GMO first-grade soybean oil, Shiyuedadao rice, and CP Group poultry—are publicly posted in the store. Combined with employees witnessing the cooking robots preparing food on-site, true three-layer transparency is achieved: ingredients, cooking process, and kitchen operations.
Qixian Kitchen is a joint-quality dining production platform launched by JD.com in July 2025. Leveraging a mature supply chain and standardized operating systems, its stores now cover first-tier and new first-tier cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, fully integrating multiple consumption channels such as delivery, in-store pickup, and dine-in, while innovatively entering retail scenes like supermarkets and convenience stores. The move into corporate cafeterias marks a key step in Qixian Kitchen's transition from dispersed storefront scenarios to the aggregated scenario of large enterprise cafeterias. A Qixian Kitchen representative stated, "Entering the Geely Building is a milestone in Qixian Kitchen's corporate group dining development. In the future, Qixian Kitchen will promote its 'AI+Robot' intelligent dining model to more Fortune 500 company cafeterias, serving more corporate clients with standardized output and food safety assurance."
